Job summary

Uber Freight is hiring a Carrier Sales Representative in the United States. You will build and maintain carrier relationships, negotiate rates, and ensure on-time pickups and deliveries in a fast-paced sales environment.

Eligible for a monthly bonus in your first full calendar month. The role focuses on expanding core and dedicated carrier networks for chemical accounts, meeting team and individual goals, and developing knowledge of freight markets and lane coverage.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of carrier management or carrier sales experience.
• Experience with bulk or related freight modes.

• Ensure customer satisfaction and high service levels with on-time freight pickups and deliveries using reliable carriers.
• Meet or exceed team and individual financial goals.
• Develop knowledge of carrier supply/demand, spot market pricing, and factors affecting freight markets.
• Maintain and update carrier profiles and advocate for carriers at all levels.
• Learn internal freight lanes and match carriers to lanes.

About The Role

As a Carrier Sales Representative, you are a key contributor to Uber Freight's business by generating and maintaining carrier relationships. You will be eligible to earn a monthly bonus, in addition to your base salary, in your first full calendar month and enjoy working in a fast-paced, sales environment.

What The Candidate Will Do

• Establish relationships, negotiate, and develop carriers regularly via phone and email in order to develop core and dedicated carriers specific to Uber Freights chemical accounts
• Ensure customer satisfaction and high service levels where freight is picked up and delivered on time using safe, reliable carriers
• Meet or exceed team financial and individual performance goals
• Develop knowledge of carrier supply and demand, spot market pricing, and factors that impact freight markets
• Carrier profile management- learn carrier requirements, needs, contacts and update carrier profiles regularly. Be an advocate for the carrier on all levels
• Acquire knowledge of freight network/lanes- know what internal freight lanes we run and find carriers that match these lanes

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a carrier management or carrier sales position or related position.
• Prior Bulk experience or experience with related modes

Preferred Qualifications

• 3PL knowledge or prior experience within a 3PL environment/Freight Brokerage
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Prior TMS experience
• Experience working with Chemical freight
