Uber Freight is hiring a Carrier Sales Representative II to build and maintain carrier relationships, negotiate rates, and drive on-time, safe freight movements. The role blends sales with logistics operations in a fast-paced environment, with eligibility for a monthly bonus in addition to base pay.

You will establish carrier partnerships, monitor performance, and collaborate across teams to align lanes and capacity.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a sales/cold call setting or related experience.
• Track and trace or related experience.
• Preferred: experience in transportation and/or logistics.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Google or Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Secure capacity, monitor shipments, communicate with stakeholders, and handle changes.
• Onboard vendors/locations, maintain TMS data and oversee accounts receivable.

About the Role

As a Carrier Sales Representative II, you are a key contributor to Uber Freight’s business by generating and maintaining carrier relationships. You will be eligible to earn a monthly bonus, in addition to your base salary, in your first full calendar month and enjoy working in a fast-paced, sales environment.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Establish relationships, negotiate, and develop carriers regularly via phone and email in order to develop core and dedicated carriers specific to expedite freight.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and extremely high service levels where freight is picked up and delivered on time using safe, reliable carriers
• Meet or exceed team financial and individual performance goals
• Develop knowledge of carrier supply and demand, spot market pricing, and factors that impact freight markets
• Carrier profile management- learn carrier requirements, needs, contacts and update carrier profiles regularly. Be an advocate for the carrier on all levels
• Acquire knowledge of freight network/lanes- know what internal freight lanes we run and find carriers that match these lanes
• Secure capacity, monitor and update shipment status, communicate with carriers/shippers/receivers, handle rescheduling, detention, and issue ComChecks as needed.
• Onboard vendors/locations, maintain TMS data (rates, fuel surcharge), and oversee accounts receivable within guidelines.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional experience in a sales/cold call setting or related experience
• Track and trace or related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Related experience in transportation and/or logistics
• Bachelors Degree
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in Google or Microsoft Office Suite
