Job summary

Uber Freight is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative to build and maintain carrier relationships in a fast-paced sales environment. You will establish relationships, negotiate, and develop core and dedicated carriers for Uber Freight's accounts, with eligibility for a monthly bonus in your first full calendar month.

You will work onsite, communicate by phone and email, and strive to meet team and personal performance goals while gaining knowledge of carrier supply and freight markets.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a carrier management or carrier sales role.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with 3PLs, TMS, and truckload operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships, negotiate, and develop carriers for Uber Freight accounts.
• Ensure on-time pickup and delivery through safe, reliable carriers.
• Meet or exceed team and personal performance goals.
• Develop knowledge of carrier markets, lanes, and pricing dynamics.
• Manage carrier profiles and advocate for carriers across the organization.
• Learn internal freight lanes and match carriers accordingly.

About the Role

As a Carrier Sales Representative, you are a key contributor to Uber Freight's business by generating and maintaining carrier relationships. You will be eligible to earn a monthly bonus, in addition to your base salary, in your first full calendar month and enjoy working in a fast-paced, sales environment.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Establish relationships, negotiate, and develop carriers regularly via phone and email in order to develop core and dedicated carriers specific to Uber Freight's accounts
• Ensure customer satisfaction and high service levels where freight is picked up and delivered on time using safe, reliable carriers
• Meet or exceed team financial and individual performance goals
• Develop knowledge of carrier supply and demand, spot market pricing, and factors that impact freight markets
• Carrier profile management- learn carrier requirements, needs, contacts and update carrier profiles regularly. Be an advocate for the carrier on all levels
• Acquire knowledge of freight network/lanes- know what internal freight lanes we run and find carriers that match these lanes

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a carrier management or carrier sales position and/or professional experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 3PL knowledge and/or prior experience within a 3PL environment/Freight Brokerage
• Prior TMS experience
• Experience working with Truckload
