Job summary

Uber Freight in Exton, PA is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative who will build and maintain carrier relationships, negotiate terms, and help grow chemical account coverage in a fast-paced sales environment.

The role offers base salary with a monthly bonus in your first full calendar month and a comprehensive benefits package. You will develop knowledge of carrier networks, manage profiles, and learn freight lanes to meet team goals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of carrier management or carrier sales experience.
• Bulk or related freight experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of carrier supply and demand, spot market pricing, and freight market factors.
• Carrier profile management and updating carrier profiles; advocate for the carrier.
• Learn internal freight lanes and match carriers to lanes.

As a Carrier Sales Representative, you are a key contributor to Uber Freight's business by generating and maintaining carrier relationships. You will be eligible to earn a monthly bonus, in addition to your base salary, in your first full calendar month and enjoy working in a fast-paced, sales environment.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Establish relationships, negotiate, and develop carriers regularly via phone and email in order to develop core and dedicated carriers specific to Uber Freights chemical accounts
• Ensure customer satisfaction and high service levels where freight is picked up and delivered on time using safe, reliable carriers
• Meet or exceed team financial and individual performance goals
• Develop knowledge of carrier supply and demand, spot market pricing, and factors that impact freight markets
• Carrier profile management- learn carrier requirements, needs, contacts and update carrier profiles regularly. Be an advocate for the carrier on all levels
• Acquire knowledge of freight network/lanes- know what internal freight lanes we run and find carriers that match these lanes

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a carrier management or carrier sales position or related position.
• Prior Bulk experience or experience with related modes

Preferred Qualifications

• 3PL knowledge or prior experience within a 3PL environment/Freight Brokerage
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Prior TMS experience
• Experience working with Chemical freight
