Job summary

BlueGrace Logistics is interviewing Carrier Sales Interns for Summer 2027 in Florida. This paid internship offers hands-on experience in carrier sales, negotiating rates and managing relationships with truckload carriers to ensure freight moves smoothly.

Ideal candidates are current students with a drive to succeed, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a willingness to work on-site full-time during the summer. No prior sales experience required, but a results-oriented mindset helps.

Qualifications

• Current students with an expected graduation date by August 2028.
• Sales experience is a plus but not required.
• Willing to work on-site and full-time throughout the summer.

Responsibilities

• Make 85 cold calls to truckload carriers to fulfill shipping commitments
• Negotiate rates with carriers and book loads
• Focus on building new relationships as you build your own carrier portfolio
• Provide top notch service to partner carriers and internal stakeholders while being rewarded for exceeding metrics such as outbound calls, loads moved and automation targets
• Resolve service failures in an industry where chaos is bound to occur
