Job summary

Paychex is seeking a Senior Carrier Relations Manager to independently develop and coordinate relationships across health, dental, and other benefit programs within Paychex Insurance Agency. You will review markets, analyze partnerships, and support strategic initiatives to drive sales and revenue.

The role requires 8+ years in insurance or business development, a current Life & Health license or ability to obtain within 90 days, and strong communication with carriers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years in insurance, sales, or business development.
• Active Life & Health insurance license, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Carrier Relationship Management experience preferred.
• Underwriting and Renewal Negotiation preferred.
• Business Development and Sales Prospecting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as primary representative of Paychex Insurance Agency with Health and Benefits carriers, general agents and TPAs.
• Develops and manages partner relationships to solve problems and drive revenue.
• Coordinate market initiatives with carriers and business partners to maximize sales impact.
• Provide feedback to improve sales productivity and revenue.
• Analyze program and partner results to determine best actions.
