Job summary

Vital Tech Solutions in Livonia, MI is seeking a Carrier Onboarding/Customer Care Specialist to manage third-party carrier recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing support. You will be the primary contact for carriers, handling high-volume calls, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships across the carrier network.

Flexibility to work 10am-7pm every other week and one weekend per month is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in customer service, account support, or recruiting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable in a high-volume phone-based role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and business systems.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and qualify third-party carriers via outbound calls.
• Manage full onboarding process: setup, credentials, and compliance.
• Support carriers with early loads and platform use.
• Educate carriers on customer-specific requirements.
• Assist with portal access and system login help.
• Handle inbound calls and service inquiries from carriers.
• Resolve delays and service issues; communicate proactively.
• Build and maintain carrier relationships to support capacity.
• Monitor carrier performance and feedback trends.
• Support carrier engagement initiatives.
