J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is seeking a Carrier Onboarding Representative to work under routine supervision and coordinate with external third parties to market, source, solicit, and screen potential independent carriers.

The role focuses on ensuring carriers meet contracting conditions, including safety and insurance requirements of J.B. Hunt and the DOT, while maintaining strong relationships with carriers.

Formación

• Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent with 1–2 years of professional experience.
• Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, Marketing or Communication with 1–2 years of direct sales experience.
• Experience in sales and recruitment within the transportation industry, and knowledge of J.B. Hunt.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with gathering necessary items from carrier to expedite the onboarding process.
• Track leads for new carriers that could develop into a working relationship to drive external capacity growth.
• Meet or exceed departmental goals for outbound calls, financial returns, and/or capacity growth.
• Explain the process to be an approved carrier and maintain status of activity in the qualification process within the company's outsource capacity database.
• Evaluate and determine whether prospective carriers meet minimum contracting conditions including insurance and safety requirements.
