Responsibilities

Build and maintain a reliable pool of third-party carriers for customer and cold storage shipments.
Review daily orders in Dynamics BC and assign carriers based on lane and capacity.
Manage dedicated high-volume lanes, including dedicated asset and/or drop-trailer programs.
Coordinate with Shipping to schedule carrier appointments and manage yard activity.
Verify invoice accuracy and ensure timely carrier payment.
Monitor freight and storage costs, balancing competitive pricing with service level as the top priority.
Support Sales with on-time customer deliveries and inter-warehouse product movement.
