Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a reliable pool of third-party carriers for customer and cold storage shipments.
• Review daily orders in Dynamics BC and assign carriers based on lane and capacity.
• Manage dedicated high-volume lanes, including dedicated asset and/or drop-trailer programs.
• Coordinate with Shipping to schedule carrier appointments and manage yard activity.
• Verify invoice accuracy and ensure timely carrier payment.
• Monitor freight and storage costs, balancing competitive pricing with service level as the top priority.
• Support Sales with on-time customer deliveries and inter-warehouse product movement.
