Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Manager – Carrier Account Management to lead and grow its carrier program within the brokerage transportation group. You will mentor a high-performing team, source new carriers, expand lanes, and align procurement with company capacity strategies to meet customer needs in a competitive market.

This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and advanced negotiation skills to drive revenue, improve service levels, and foster long-term carrier relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5 years in logistics/supply chain management
• 5 years in carrier/account/solutions management for third-party logistics
• Experience leading and developing a team toward revenue goals
• Strong proposal, presentation, project management and financial analysis skills
• Experience managing complex negotiations and service contracts with financial acumen
• Excellent communication skills for executive meetings and presentations
• Understanding of the 3PL landscape and domestic transportation modes

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Carrier Account Management team to source new carriers and expand lanes
• Monitor productivity and KPIs; apply data-driven insights to sourcing and procurement
• Collaborate with pricing, commercial, and admin/support teams to win new business
• Provide strategic guidance on carrier procurement costs, budgeting, and market trends
• Present capabilities to current and potential carriers, including executives
• Improve processes to enhance efficiency and carrier relationships within market costs
