Job summary

KENCO Logistics is seeking a Transportation Account Manager to foster relationships with external customers and coordinate daily operations with shippers and carriers in the Tennessee region.

You will focus on reducing customer costs while growing Kenco's revenue and margin, manage load planning, tendering, and performance reporting, and serve as the primary contact for key accounts. Travel up to 25% is expected, supporting cross-functional teams to drive service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience in transportation management or logistics is required.
• Strong communication and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Foster relationships with external customers and carriers.
• Oversee inbound/outbound load planning and shipment tendering.
• Prepare routine reports on carrier performance and shipment activity.
• Manage budgetary items including freight invoices and cost reconciliation.
