Qualifications

• Completion of the Shaw sales trainee program can substitute for experience
• Must reside in the market and be able to travel in a vehicle carrying product samples
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work a flexible schedule including some evenings
• Proficient with a laptop and MS Office applications

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on hard surface flooring products
• Present products to retail dealers, designers and end-users; analyze leads from corporate reports
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more
• Continuously prospect for new accounts within the geography
• Prepare and communicate periodic sales reports and volumes
• Analyze sales statistics and territory data to set goals and assist dealers
• Monitor travel/entertainment expenditures and sample budgets
• Record all customer interactions in Salesforce.com
• Promote Shaw Floors, Anderson Tuftex, and Philly Commercial; educate customers on these products
