Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Carpenter to construct, erect, install, and repair structures on industrial and commercial construction projects. You will read blueprints, measure and cut materials, install windows/doors, and build concrete forms while maintaining a safe work environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of carpentry experience, proficient tool use, and strong teamwork abilities to support diverse trades on site. Valid driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Carpenter in an industrial or commercial construction setting.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, methods, and procedures.
• Expertise in operating various hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, and join materials.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working at heights.
• Understanding of construction site safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials using hand and power tools.

• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.

• Collaborate effectively with other construction team members, including laborers, electricians, and plumbers.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.

Job Overview
