Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Carpenter B for industrial construction projects. This role performs skilled carpentry, including layout, cutting, fitting, and assembling structural components, with a strong emphasis on precision and safety on site.

Key duties include interpreting blueprints and construction drawings, measuring, cutting, shaping wood and other materials, installing windows, doors, and trim, and building or dismantling concrete forms and scaffolding.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of carpenter experience in industrial or commercial settings.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools common to carpentry.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
• Strong understanding of construction safety practices and procedures.
• Physical ability for manual labor including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for long periods.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license preferred; pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
