Job summary

Primoris Energy Services seeks a skilled Carpenter for field-based work in Hubbard, TX. The role focuses on constructing, installing, and repairing wooden structures and fixtures according to blueprints and plans.

Ideal candidates will have 2–4 years of carpentry experience in commercial or industrial settings, with strong blueprint-reading skills and a solid knowledge of carpentry tools and safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2–4 years of Carpenter experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry materials, tools and techniques.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various positions.
• Adherence to safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Constructs, erects, installs and repairs structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard using hand and power tools.
• Interprets blueprints, sketches or building plans to determine materials and dimensions.
• Selects lumber and other materials and prepares layouts and cuts.
• Assembles materials and secures with nails, screws or glue.
• Installs windows, frames, flooring, trims and hardware; erects scaffolding and ladders as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
