Job summary

ECU Health is seeking a skilled tradesperson to install and maintain wall, door, window, ceiling, and floor systems at ECU Health Medical Center in North Carolina. The role requires basic carpentry, blueprint interpretation, and attention to safety and aesthetics.

You will install and repair cabinets, hardware, and related structures, read manuals, and assist with moves and equipment relocations as needed. A valid NC driver’s license and a high school diploma are required for this facilities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 To 4 Years Related Experience Required.
• Valid NC Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Uses tools of the trade to install and maintain wall systems.
• Read blueprints, specifications, manuals, and other literature, and interpret requirements.
• Apply basic carpentry to install wall studs, drywall, anchoring, and securing for safety.
• Maintain wall systems, appurtenances, and structures to standards.
• Install and maintain door and window systems in walls and support structures.
• Install ceilings and roof systems and repair ceiling grid and tile.
• Troubleshoot and repair defects in roofing systems including flashing and vents.
• Build, install, and maintain floor systems including tile, baseboard, ramps, and rails.
• Install and maintain door hardware and related components.
• Assist in other areas and support to departments during moves and relocations.
