Qualifications

• Trade school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 3 years Journeyman level experience.
• Knowledge of power tools used in carpentry.
• Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and sketches.
• Ability to utilize electronic devices such as an iPad.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to off-site locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records and pertinent data.
• Perform preventive maintenance procedures as outlined in the computerized maintenance management system.
• Ensure materials and equipment requirements are at site to complete work efficiently.
• Install, repair, modify, and maintain walls, doors, window jams, flooring, ceilings, cabinets and all hardware.
• Ability to layout and install doors in masonry and drywall partitions.
• Ability to layout and install acoustical ceiling systems and resilient flooring.
• Hang doors, install and repair windows flashing and expansion joints.
• Construct laminate covered cabinetry and install these and other pre-manufactured cabinets.
• Erect and dismantle modular furniture panel systems.
• Perform other duties as required.
