Job summary

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and specs to determine materials and dimensions.
• Select and purchase necessary materials (lumber, hardware, etc).
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials for walls, partitions, cabinets, doors, windows, and furniture.
• Install and fit wooden structures and fixtures (trim, moldings, stairs, railings).
• Repair or replace damaged wooden structures and fixtures.
• Ensure work meets building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and other trades to complete projects.
• Maintain tools and equipment; ensure they are in good condition.
• Follow project timelines and work efficiently to meet deadlines.
