Job summary

Concord Hospital in New Hampshire seeks a skilled maintenance carpenter to construct, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures across hospital sites including off-site locations as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, NH driver’s license with a clean record, and experience with power tools and blueprints. You will work under the Maintenance Manager, performing preventative maintenance and ensuring infection control standards are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Valid New Hampshire driver's license with clean DMV record and proof of insurance.
• Experience using power tools and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans for material requirements.
• Calculate material and labor costs in coordination with Maintenance Manager.
• Fabricate and construct cabinetry; build stairs and install partitions.
• Maintain infection control standards and keep work areas clean.
• Complete work orders for Life Safety, Environment of Care, Safety and Patient Related.
