Position Summary

We are looking for a multi-skilled carpenter to work at local factories and businesses. Overtime, including some weekends, may be required. The ideal candidate will collaborate with project supervision to complete multiple projects safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures using wood and metal framing, plywood, drywall, and wallboard. The candidate should be able to interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans, and install window frames, doors, weather stripping, interior and exterior trim, and hardware such as locks and kick plates. Additional duties include erecting scaffolding and ladders for above-ground structures and other tasks as assigned.

Additional Skills and Requirements

While carpentry is the primary focus, Haynes Industrial is an industrial maintenance company, and our craftsmen are expected to work across multiple disciplines, developing multi-craft skills.

Qualifications

• Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Thorough knowledge of all types of hand tools (e.g., powered saws, hammers, rulers).
• Proven carpentry experience.
• Hands-on experience with carpentry materials.
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and installation methods.
• Ability to read drawings and technical documents.
