We are an Asheville-based home service provider focusing on carpentry, handyman services, and light remodeling.

Job Description

We seek an exceptional, service-oriented craftsperson/handyman to join our team. If you’re a conscientious professional with a wide range of carpentry, home repair, and maintenance experience, you might be a good fit for our full-time Carpenter/Handyman position.

Candidate must be dedicated, a great communicator, possess excellent customer service skills, and take pride in his/her work. Also must be neat, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a crew or team.

The candidate must live within 20 minutes of Downtown Asheville and have a valid NC driver’s license (with a clean driving record). All candidates are subject to a criminal background check and drug testing.

This is a drug-free, smoke-free, and vape-free environment.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time W2 position (weekly pay, direct deposit, PTO earned for accrued hours, paid holidays, worker’s comp insurance)
• Company truck with power tools provided
• Company credit card for purchase of project materials and fuel
• Company email and phone number provided
• All work is scheduled and detailed via field service software with time tracking (installed on personal phone)
• All business phone communications (voice and text) are facilitated via an app-based service (installed on personal phone)
• Potential for performance bonuses and opportunities for growth

Technical Requirements:

• Carpentry (framing, trim, siding, etc.)
• Painting
• Drywall (installation, finishing, & repair)
• Light plumbing & electrical
• Deck and porch construction/repair
• Door and window installation/repair
• Fence and gate installation/repair
• Tile installation/repair
• Cabinet installation
• Must be able to lift/carry 100 lbs.

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour (depending on skills and experience)

Expected hours: 40 billable hours/week
