Job summary

PSG Traffic Services, part of the Helix Traffic Solutions network, is seeking a driven Field Sales Representative to grow our business in the Carolinas.

You will hunt new accounts, manage existing relationships, visit active construction sites, and coordinate with the estimating team to deliver fast, accurate quotes.

This road-based role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience, strong hunter mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or comparable professional experience with demonstrated success in sales, business development, or account management.
• Proven sales experience with demonstrated revenue growth, developing new business, and expanding existing customer relationships.
• Hunter mentality, comfortable prospecting, cold-calling, and closing new business.
• Sharp and composed under pressure, able to de-escalate challenging customer situations and quickly determine practical solutions.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate unfamiliar situations and make sound decisions.
• Self-motivated, resilient, and accountable, with a strong work ethic and a drive to continuously improve.
• Energized by a performance-based compensation structure and motivated by the opportunity to directly influence earnings through results.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an assigned book of business.
• Proactively hunt and close new accounts while retaining and expanding existing relationships.
• Visit active job sites and construction sites regularly to understand customer needs firsthand.
• Coordinate with our in-house estimating team to deliver fast, accurate quotes to customers.
• Represent PSG professionally in blue-collar, industrial, and DOT job site environment.
