Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc. is seeking a Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for residents in our Illinois locations. You will assist residents with getting in and out of vehicles and accompany them to appointments and outings, while adhering to safety and infection control standards.

Key duties include vehicle inspections, documenting logs, and maintaining a clean vehicle. You must have a HS diploma, a valid license with a good driving record, and be prepared to handle

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required, age 21+.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• CPR certification as required.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to stay calm in emergencies.
• Ability to operate wheelchair lift and secure mobility devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations.
• Maintain focus on safe driving at all times.
• Conduct pre-trip and monthly vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment.
• Complete required driving logs and documentation.
• Report resident changes in condition.
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety standards.
• Assist with activities when not driving.
