Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Livingston, NJ is seeking a Driver to provide safe, courteous transportation for residents and support their mobility needs. You will assist residents in and out of vehicles, conduct basic vehicle inspections, and maintain logs while upholding safety standards.

The role requires a HS Diploma or GED, 21+ age, and a valid driver’s license with a reliable driving history; CPR certification may be required. Excellent communication and calmness in emergencies are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings for residents.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations.
• Perform pre-trip and monthly vehicle inspections; maintain cleanliness and safety equipment.
• Complete required driving logs and documentation.
• Report resident changes in condition; follow safety and OSHA standards.
• Assist with activities when not driving.
