Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living, LLC in Bethesda, MD is hiring a Driver to provide safe, timely transportation for residents to appointments and outings. You will assist residents in and out of vehicles, maintain vehicle safety and logs, and conduct pre-trip inspections.

Requires HS diploma, 21+, valid license, CPR certification, strong communication, and calm demeanor in emergencies. This is a full-time on-site role with benefits and growth opportunities within Sunrise.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• CPR certification (as required).
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to remain calm in emergencies.
• Ability to operate wheelchair lift and secure mobility devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations.
• Conduct pre-trip and monthly vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment.
• Complete required driving logs and documentation.
• Report resident changes in condition.
