Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc is seeking a Driver to provide safe, courteous transportation to residents, assisting them in and out of vehicles and ensuring comfort and safety on every trip.

You will perform pre-trip checks, keep logs, and maintain clean, well-equipped vehicles while following safety and infection-control guidelines. This role emphasizes resident safety, reliability, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED; age 21+.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• CPR certification (as required).
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to remain calm in emergencies.
• Ability to operate wheelchair lift and secure mobility devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings.
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations.
• Maintain focus on safe driving at all times.
• Conduct pre-trip and monthly vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment.
• Complete required driving logs and documentation.
• Report resident changes in condition.
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety standards.
• Assist with activities when not driving.
