Commonwealth Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Associate to support residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care. The role involves helping with daily tasks, following individualized care plans, documenting care, and promoting a dignified, high-quality life for seniors in our community.

Qualified candidates may hold CNA or HHA credentials, with CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Weekend availability is a plus in a team-based, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA certification is required.
• Ability to fulfill both physical and emotional needs of residents.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain per policy.
• Upholds resident confidentiality.
• Flexible weekend availability to ensure resident care.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist residents with daily tasks and communicate care changes with the Resident Care Director.
• Aid residents with mobility using proper techniques and equipment.
• Conduct routine rounds to meet needs per individualized care plan.
• Assist with lifts, moves, and transport using proper body mechanics.
• Perform skin care to prevent ulcers and injuries; change incontinent residents as needed.
• Document daily care activities per policy and regulatory standards.
• Report issues promptly to supervisors and respond to inquiries from residents and staff.
