Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Associate to support seniors in Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will assist residents with daily tasks, follow individualized care plans, document services, and uphold residents' dignity and quality of life.

The role requires compassion, flexibility, and teamwork, with shifts 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am. CNA or HHA certification and CPR/First Aid are required or pending. Full-time benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Compassionate disposition and a desire to serve; prior experience not required.
• Ability to fulfill both the physical and emotional needs of residents.
• CNA or HHA required.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain according to policy.
• Upholds resident confidentiality.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.
• Demonstrates genuine concern for seniors and their families.
• Proficient with basic office equipment and computers.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist residents with daily tasks and communicate with the Resident Care Director about care provision and changes.
• Aid residents with mobility using proper techniques and equipment.
• Make routine care rounds to meet residents' needs per their care plan.
• Assist with lifts, moves, and transport using proper body mechanics or devices.
• Maintain skin integrity and prevent pressure ulcers by caring for incontinent residents.
• Document daily care activities per policy and regulatory standards.
• Report resident issues promptly to the supervisor.
• Respond to inquiries from residents, visitors, and staff per policies.
• Familiarize with residents' care plans and provide support accordingly.
• Contribute observations to care planning and resident needs.
