Priority Dispatch Corp. seeks a Part-time Ancillary Patient Access Representative in Minnesota, primarily located in Wadena.

The role requires a variable schedule including evenings, nights, rotating weekends and holidays, with potential to float to other Patient Access locations. You will welcome patients, collect demographic and financial information for registration, schedule appointments, operate the phone console, process referrals promptly, and maintain provider schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience with patient registration and scheduling is preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information and privacy compliance.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Proficiency with standard office equipment and software.

Responsibilities

• Receives patients and visitors and ascertains their needs in a caring and professional manner.
• Secures demographic and financial information and enters it into the electronic health record to complete the registration process.
• Schedules appointments and maintains provider schedules.
• Operates telephone console and transfers calls to correct departments when appropriate.
• Ensures referrals are addressed and completed in a timely manner.
• May float to other Patient Access department locations to cover when needed.
• Duties may change as needed.
