Our team is hiring for a part-time, 48 hours per pay period, Ancillary Patient Access Representative position and primarily located in Wadena. This position schedule varies and can require evenings, nights, rotating weekends, rotating holidays and may also float to other Patient Access department locations to cover when needed. We also support work-life balance through benefits such as paid time off, and long-term disability and our employee wellness initiative.Essential Duties:Receives patients and visitors and ascertains their needs to assist them using a caring and professional manner.Secures demographic and financial information from patients or family, obtains necessary signatures and enters information into the electronic health record to complete the registration process.Schedules appointments and maintains provider schedules.Operates telephone console using a caring and professional manners to assist callers, answers questions and transfers calls to correct departments when appropriate.Ensures referrals are addressed and completed in a timely manner.Works department work queues as assigned.
