Fundamental in Mitchellville, MD is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide for weekend shifts. You will assist in meal preparation and service for patients and long-term residents, helping ensure meals are prepared safely and served with care.

Qualified applicants will have a High School Diploma or GED, fluency in English, and reliable transportation; a food handler's permit is preferred. This role offers a competitive hourly wage of $15.00.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Food handler’s permit preferred according to local regulatory requirements.
• Experience in food prep and service within a skilled nursing or long term care facility strongly preferred.
• Must be able to speak, understand, and write in fluent English.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the preparation and/or service of meals for patients, employees, and special events as instructed by the Dietary Manager.
• Serve food and snacks according to the planned menu/spreadsheet and the patient’s/resident's food preferences and diet order.
• Assist the Cook by ensuring the food prepared is properly portioned using safe handling techniques and in accordance with the menu and residents’ diet order.
• May wash dishes, etc. when necessary or when instructed to do so by the Dietary Manager.
