Qualifications

• Experience as a dietary aide and customer service
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines for a hygienic environment
• Meal preparation using appropriate cookware and appliances
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Physical stamina for a fast-paced setting
• High school diploma or equivalent; food service certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under guidance of dietary manager or cook, ensuring safety and instructions.
• Deliver dishes and trays to rooms and times.
• Assist in post-meal cleanup and clearing dining areas.
• Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and taking out garbage.
• Keep food stations clean and wash dishes and equipment.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and maintain inventory.
• Support upkeep of kitchen equipment and appliances.
