Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follows diet orders and NPO diet orders.
• Assists cook in preparing meals, desserts and snacks for patients/residents.
• Uses proper food handling processes and policies.
• Delivers trays to patients/residents on halls.
• Delivers and serves meals to patients/residents in dining area.
• Prepares between-meal nourishments and serves as directed.
• Records substitutions and follows guidelines.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas.
• Attends continuing education and mandatory in-services.
