Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to join our team in a long-term care facility. You will prepare and cook nutritious meals following planned menus and recipes, while ensuring quality, taste and presentation meet HCSG standards.

The position emphasizes food safety, resident interactions, and teamwork with kitchen and care staff. Prior cooking experience and ServSafe/Food Handler certification are preferred; residency within service area is required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and administration.
• Residency within the service area required.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by State/County law.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
