Job summary

Swissport International is seeking a Lead Cargo Agent in Denver to organize cargo handling, coordinate warehousing, and load/unload air cargo while ensuring safety and quality per SOPs.

We require 3-5 years in cargo/logistics and at least 3 years in a supervisory role. You will drive performance, manage subcontractors, and liaise with airlines and authorities; a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years industry experience.
• 3 years managerial / supervisory experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Technical knowledge of equipment and systems.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Customer focus and quality awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cargo Agent organizes warehouse and storage facilities; arranges handling equipment and loads/unloads air cargo.
• Ensure that financial targets are met in line with the operational plan.
• Establish and maintain a high quality standard in the cargo operation and continually improve workflows.
• Supervise subcontracted cargo services providers and oversee performance.
• Maintain relationships with customer airline management and authorities.
• Generate detailed reports and summaries of operations.
