Swissport International in Atlanta is seeking a Lead Cargo Agent to organize warehouse operations, supervise staff, and ensure safety and SOP compliance in a fast-paced aviation environment.

You will drive performance, supervise subcontractors, maintain customer relationships with airlines, and generate operational reports. Requires 3–5 years in cargo/logistics and 3 years of supervisory experience; offers full-time employment and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years industry experience.
• 3 years managerial / supervisory experience.
• Ability to work in a team and to handle conflict.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Technical knowledge of cargo equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead cargo operations in the warehouse, ensuring safety and SOP compliance.
• Arrange cargo handling equipment and loads/unloads air cargo.
• Meet financial targets in line with the operating plan.
• Supervise subcontracted cargo service providers.
• Maintain relationships with airline management and authorities.
• Generate detailed operational reports and summaries.
• Ensure adequate resources to meet operational requirements.
• Oversee employee performance and training.
