Job summary

Swissport International AG is seeking a Cargo Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. You will oversee cargo handling, documentation, and on-time reporting while ensuring compliance with SOPs and company policies.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, resolving operational issues, and coordinating tasks during turnarounds and at the warehouse. The role offers full-time hours and competitive benefits in a global aviation services provider.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• 5 years’ operational experience in ground handling, cargo, or aircraft fueling services.
• Strong safety practices and procedural compliance.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.
• Ability to coach and motivate teams.
• Ability to resolve problems with a focus on customer service.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a functional member of the operational team on a shift basis.
• Act as technical expert on ground when addressing complex issues.
• Coach and coordinate team members on assigned tasks.
• Ensure accurate service capture for invoicing and flight/task reports.
• Allocate tasks and supervise operations in the turnaround/warehouse areas.
• Ensure SOPs and safety rules are followed during shifts.
• Stand in for Duty Manager when required.
• Provide instruction and feedback for team development.
• Escalate customer complaints to Duty managers as needed.
• Contribute to daily QA checks and report findings.
