Qualifications

• Must have English proficiency with strong oral and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Willingness to work fixed or rotating schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift/carry items up to 70 kg (154 lb).
• Must pass drug test and background check, including fingerprinting.
• Must have valid COVID-19 vaccination status or satisfy Delta policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor assistance equipment including tugs, forklifts, and tow tractors.
• Raise, load, unload, and deliver mail and cargo to and from aircraft, ensuring on-time shipments.
• Shield cargo and mail from harm, loss, and weather.
• Drive and operate floor system in congested areas.
• Carry and load shipments onto carts, ensuring correct destination.
• Operate scanners and computers to route mail and cargo accurately.
• Work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays and inclement weather.
