Job summary

Senior Helpers of Western Cuyahoga & Lorain Counties is seeking reliable caregivers for immediate weekend evening shifts in Olmsted Falls, OH. You will provide in-home care to seniors, assist with daily activities, and help maintain independence and dignity.

No prior experience is required; CNA/STNA, LPN, RN students or healthcare experience are welcome. Must have reliable transportation and pass background checks. Competitive pay and flexible schedules offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care.
• Support mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Provide medication reminders and observe/report changes in condition.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help seniors maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.
• Communicate effectively with clients, family, and Senior Helpers staff.
• Document care accurately and report changes promptly.

Immediate Open Shifts

• Olmsted Falls Weekend Fri, Sat, Sunday early evening shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care
• Support mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Provide medication reminders and observe and report changes in condition
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help seniors maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life
• Communicate effectively with clients, family, and Senior Helpers office staff
• Accurately document care and promptly report changes or concerns

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Reliability, punctuality, and communication are essential
• No prior experience required.
• CNA/STNA, LPN, RN, nursing students, or relevant healthcare experience welcome.
• Reliable transportation, Ohio required car insurance and valid driver's license
• Ability to pass required background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screening
• Compassion for seniors and a genuine desire to serve others

Pay & Benefits: What We Offer

• Pay Rate
• Standard Rate: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
