Job summary

Senior Helpers is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to support seniors in West Cuyahoga and Lorain Counties. Immediate daytime opportunities are available across multiple shifts with weekend options and growth as our client base expands.

Applicants must be 18+, reliable, and able to pass background and driving checks. Caregiving experience is preferred but not required. Competitive pay ranges and opportunities for bonuses are offered in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Compassionate, patient and service-minded personality.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screening.
• Caregiving experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care.
• Support mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Provide medication reminders and observe clients for changes.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Communicate promptly and professionally with clients, families, and office staff.
• Accurately document care and report changes in a client’s condition.

Senior Helpers of West Cuyahoga and Lorain Counties is looking for dependable, compassionate caregivers who understand that showing up on time and consistently being there matters—to our clients, their families, and our entire care team.

We have immediate openings for the following shifts:

• 8:00 AM-1:00 PM
• 1:00 PM-5:00 PM
• Weekday and weekend opportunities
• Additional shifts becoming available as we continue to grow

Pay Rate

$16.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and client needs, with premium pay opportunities for holidays, weekends, and evenings.

Key Responsibilities
