Senior Helpers of Western Cuyahoga & Lorain Counties is seeking compassionate caregivers to help seniors stay safe and comfortable at home in North Olmsted, OH. Training and support are provided as you join a growing team with caring client relationships.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, mobility, meals, and medication reminders. We welcome both experienced and entry-level caregivers, with flexible part-time and full-time opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
• Proven reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to pass background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screening.
• Care giving experience preferred but not required but must be willing and able to perform all responsibilities noted above.
• Parkinson’s and Dementia care experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Be available for shifts based on client’s schedule.
• Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, personal hygiene, dressing and grooming, toileting and adult diapering.
• Support mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition and accurately document care provided.
• Communicate effectively with clients and office staff.

Caregiver Responsibilities

Pay & Benefits

Location: Immediate shifts North Olmsted, OH and surrounding areas
Weekday Pay: $16 - $19/hr. Weekend Premium Pay: $17 - $20/hr.
Schedules Available: Weekdays & Weekends | 9AM-1:00PM
