Job summary

Family Resource Home Care in Vancouver, WA is hiring a Caregiver Manager to supervise and develop caregivers for in-home client care. The role emphasizes training, performance feedback, and ensuring high-quality service to maintain client independence.

The CGM will work with Talent Acquisition, Staffing, and Compliance to ensure smooth onboarding, ongoing education, and adherence to regulatory guidelines, while supporting caregiver success and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1 year+ experience in healthcare or senior care management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong time management and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• 2–3 professional references.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to discuss client needs and market insights.
• Engage new caregivers and prep them for their first day prior to orientation.
• Coordinate orientation requirements with Talent Acquisition for new hires.
• Conduct weekly orientation sessions for incoming caregivers.
• Partner with Staffing to provide insights on client and caregiver requirements.
• Accompany caregivers on their initial shift for client introductions.
• Deliver ongoing training with individualized sessions and skills labs.
• Ensure compliance by working with Compliance on regulations and caregiver needs.
• Serve as the primary contact for caregiver inquiries and concerns.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations to support caregiver development.
• Assist HR with progressive discipline when necessary.
• Maintain accurate logs of caregiver communications and requests.
• Participate in company meetings and training sessions.
• Adhere to all company and regulatory guidelines.
