Job summary

Family Resource Home Care in Pendleton, OR is seeking a Caregiver Manager to supervise and develop a team of caregivers, ensuring compassionate in-home care and compliance.

The role includes training, orientation coordination with Talent Acquisition, performance feedback, and close collaboration with HR. Seattle onboarding training is provided, with dedicated time and travel support.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of healthcare or senior care management experience.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to discuss client needs and market insights.
• Engage new caregivers and prepare them for their first day prior to orientation.
• Clarify orientation requirements and coordinate with Talent Acquisition.
• Conduct weekly orientation sessions for incoming caregivers.
• Partner with Staffing to provide client and caregiver requirements insights.
• Facilitate client introductions and accompany caregivers on initial shifts.
• Deliver ongoing training including skills labs and soft skills development.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and address caregiver needs with Compliance.
• Serve as contact point for caregiver inquiries.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback.
• Assist HR with progressive discipline as necessary.
• Maintain records of caregiver communications and requests.
• Participate in meetings and adhere to policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are currently hiring for a Caregiver Manager to join our branch located in Pendleton, OR.

Position: Caregiver Manager (CGM)

The Caregiver Manager will supervise and lead a team of caregivers by training, developing and supporting them so they may thrive in their roles and provide quality care for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition: Discuss client needs and market insights.
• Engage New Caregivers: Prepare them for their first day prior to orientation.
• Clarify Orientation Requirements: Coordinate with Talent Acquisition on new hire essentials.
• Conduct Weekly Orientation: Facilitate sessions for incoming caregivers.

• Assist HR: Facilitate progressive discipline as necessary.
• Maintain Records: Keep accurate logs of caregiver communications and requests.
• Participate in Meetings: Engage in company meetings and training sessions.
• Adhere to Policies: Follow all company and regulatory guidelines.
• Other Duties: As assigned.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare or senior care management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong time management and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to enhancing the quality of life for caregivers and clients.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• 2-3 professional references.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with a Point of Care software
• Experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities in a caregiving or healthcare setting.

Pay Range: $45,000 - $50,000 / Yr
