Job summary

Family Resource Home Care in McMinnville, OR is seeking a Caregiver Manager to supervise, train, and support a team of caregivers who provide in-home care to clients. The role focuses on orientation, ongoing training, and compliance, with a duty to collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Staffing to meet client needs.

The Caregiver Manager will lead performance evaluations, maintain records, and participate in meetings while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare or senior care management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong time management and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• 2-3 professional references.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to discuss client needs and market insights.
• Engage new caregivers and prepare them for their first day prior to orientation.
• Coordinate orientation requirements with Talent Acquisition.
• Conduct weekly orientation sessions for incoming caregivers.
• Partner with Staffing to provide insights on client and caregiver requirements.
• Accompany caregivers on their initial shift for client introductions.
• Deliver ongoing training with individualized sessions and skills labs.
• Ensure compliance by working with Compliance to uphold regulations.
• Serve as a point of contact for caregiver inquiries and concerns.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations to support caregiver development.
• Assist HR with progressive discipline as necessary.
• Maintain records of caregiver communications and requests.
• Participate in company meetings and training sessions.
• Adhere to all company and regulatory guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are currently hiring for a Caregiver Manager to join our branch located in McMinnville, OR

Position: Caregiver Manager (CGM)

The Caregiver Manager will supervise and lead a team of caregivers by training, developing and supporting them so they may thrive in their roles and provide quality care for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition: Discuss client needs and market insights.
• Engage New Caregivers: Prepare them for their first day prior to orientation.
• Clarify Orientation Requirements: Coordinate with Talent Acquisition on new hire essentials.
• Conduct Weekly Orientation: Facilitate sessions for incoming caregivers.
• Partner with Staffing: Provide insights on client and caregiver requirements.
• Facilitate Client Introductions: Accompany caregivers on their initial shift.

Requirements

• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• 2-3 professional references.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with a Point of Care software
• Experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities in a caregiving or healthcare setting.

Pay Range: $48,000 - $55,000 / Yr
