Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking a Scheduler & Caregiver Support to coordinate caregiver schedules, match clients with suitable caregivers, and respond to scheduling changes. The role requires strong organization, responsiveness, and compassionate communication to balance client, caregiver, and business needs.

The ideal candidate will manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with leadership to anticipate staffing needs while ensuring HIPAA and Colorado Class A Home Care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare experience preferred.
• At least 2 years in home care, healthcare, senior services, customer service, or scheduling.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and adjust caregiver schedules to ensure visits are staffed.
• Coordinate caregiver assignments based on client needs, availability, and compatibility.
• Proactively identify open shifts and coverage issues and resolve them before impact.
• Respond to call-offs, schedule changes, client requests, and staffing needs.
• Communicate schedule changes clearly with caregivers, clients, families, and team members.
• Maintain scheduling information within company systems.
• Partner with leadership to anticipate future staffing needs.
• Serve as a point of contact for caregivers regarding schedules and day-to-day questions.
• Build positive relationships and support caregiver engagement and retention.
• Conduct proactive caregiver check-ins to identify concerns and changes.
• Escalate significant issues to the appropriate leader.
• Reinforce attendance, punctuality, communication, professionalism, and client service.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with recruitment, onboarding, client care, and operations.
