FirstLight Home Care of Colorado Springs is seeking a Scheduler to coordinate and maintain schedules for clients and staff. The role supports a compassionate, dependable team focused on delivering first-class home care services.

The ideal candidate will manage service plans, maintain accurate staffing levels, and handle after-hours calls to ensure smooth operations. Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft/Google tools is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–2 years related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Working knowledge of scheduling software.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to read and understand short instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively communicate through written and verbal language.
• Ability to present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain schedules for clients and staff.
• Schedule client visits according to service plans and staff availability.
• Maintain staffing levels to ensure coverage for all clients.
• Enter scheduling data and generate weekly schedules.
• Maintain staff and client reports and follow up on changes.
• Handle after-hours calls for emergencies and scheduling issues.
• Support continuous quality improvement and stay current with software changes.
