Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. is seeking a compassionate CAREGIVER to assist residents with daily living activities in a supportive, homelike senior living community. Duties include helping with meals, personal care, light housekeeping, and mobility support, while following the resident service plan.

The role emphasizes safety, observation of changes in condition, and reporting to a supervisor. Equal opportunity employer with requirements for health screenings and background checks.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and committed caregiver with a genuine desire to work with seniors.
• Ability to perform ADL tasks with patience and empathy.
• Ability to observe and report changes in resident condition to supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping, making beds, serving meals.
• Assist with personal laundry, showers, toileting, dressing and grooming, transfers and ambulation as needed.
• Keep environment safe and clean for all residents.
• Observe residents for safety and report any changes to supervisor.

What we need from you:

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping tasks, making beds, serving meals,
  • assisting with personal laundry, assisting with showers, assisting with toileting, dressing,
  • undressing, oral care, hair care, transfers and ambulation and any other needs addressed on the resident service plan.
• Keeping environment safe and clean for all residents.
• Observing residents for safety, and report any change of condition or other pertinent information to supervisor

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
