Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. is seeking a compassionate CAREGIVER to support residents across independent and assisted living settings. You will assist with ADL tasks, meals, and daily activities in a homelike community.

Applicants should be able to maintain a safe, clean environment, observe residents for changes, and report to supervisors. A post-offer physical and routine screenings are required as part of licensing and employment processes.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL).
• Ability to maintain a clean, safe living environment.
• Ability to pass required screenings and background checks.
• Empathy and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping, making beds and serving meals.
• Keep the living environment safe and clean for all residents.
• Observe residents for changes and report any concerns to supervision.
• Provide supportive care as outlined in resident service plans.

What we need from you:

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping tasks, making beds, serving meals,
  • assisting with personal laundry, assisting with showers, assisting with toileting, dressing,
  • undressing, oral care, hair care, transfers and ambulation and any other needs addressed on the resident service plan.
• Keeping environment safe and clean for all residents.
• Observing residents for safety, and report any change of condition or other pertinent
• information to supervisor
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
