Job summary

Westmont Living’s Westmont of Cypress community is seeking a compassionate CAREGIVER to support residents in daily activities and memory care. This role includes assisting with meals, personal care, housekeeping, and mobility in a warm, homelike setting.

Shift: 2:00PM to 10:00PM. We offer competitive pay, daily pay, meals, holidays, 401K matching, tuition assistance, life insurance, and an EAP program. Training provided to new staff.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and reliable caregiver with a strong desire to help seniors.
• Ability to follow care plans and maintain resident dignity and respect.
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community.
• Must pass health screenings (Physical, TB, Drug test).
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping, making beds and serving meals.
• Assist with showers, toileting, dressing, undressing, oral/hair care, transfers and ambulation.
• Keep the environment safe and clean; observe residents for safety and report changes to supervisor.

What we need from you:

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping tasks, making beds, serving meals,
  • assisting with personal laundry, assisting with showers, assisting with toileting, dressing,
  • undressing, oral care, hair care, transfers and ambulation and any other needs addressed on the resident service plan.
• Keeping environment safe and clean for all residents.
• Observing residents for safety, and report any change of condition or other pertinent

information to supervisor

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
