Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide quality care and assistance with daily living activities for residents at our Mount Juliet community. You will report incidents, support with mobility, and help with activity planning while maintaining resident confidentiality.

The role requires HS diploma or GED, completion of an approved PCA program, strong communication skills, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have successfully completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations as applicable.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be a contributing member of nursing team and follow instruction of supervisor.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and care concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas as directed by supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Support residents during move-in transitions and provide emotional support.
